NBOC Fishing ReportAugust 10, 2011
A little break in the weather.
We are finally getting a little cooler weather here along with some much needed rain. The fish seem to have a little more spunk to them.
Tricos are hatching though out the Au Sable system and Manistee right now, If your not getting them on the tricos, try a blue winged olive. We’ve been getting fish on them just about all day long.
The night—time fishing probably hasn’t been as good as it should be right now. Although we’re still moving a few decent fish, It’s been hit or miss with the darker nights being best.
Don’t forget the 2011 Michigan Fly Fishing festival is right around the corner! Stop by August 20th and join the fun! We are also taking reservations for a rib dinner on the 20th at 6:30
We have some great opportunities coming up ahead of us to get out and enjoy the Northern woods, From upland bird hunts to cast and blasts and salmon fishing on the Betsie River. Give us a call to book your trip! 989-348-7951 - firstname.lastname@example.org Get your trip booked today!
