NBOC Fishing Report

Sept. 8, 2011

Some Fall like weather.

We’ve had some cool, cool nights as of late. You can just about sense the change of season.

The brook trout are even starting to get their magnificent fall colors. While blue winged olives, flying ants and attractor patterns are working, don’t be afraid to try out a streamer.

For those looking to chase some salmon, the Betsie is pretty much loaded with fish right now. Probably one of the biggest runs in years!

Fall is one of the most spectacular times here in Northern Michgan. Whether your looking to cast dry flies to rising brookies, chase steelhead and salmon, or try a cast and blast, we’ve got it all. Give us a call today to book your trip!
